AT THE END OF THE DAY…
I was raised on the outskirts of Denver, Colorado and attended the film program at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In 2003, I set out for Los Angeles, CA and never looked back. Now an experienced VFX Supervisor (on-set and thru post), I’ve started the VFX Studio, Null Layer, Inc., in Pasadena, CA in 2022. My credits include such upcoming films as David Fincher’s The Killer (2023), Doug Liman’s Roadhouse (2023), Gone Girl (2014) and Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014). In Television, I have been the VFX Supervisor - dept. head - and 2nd unit director - on such acclaimed television shows as Mr. Robot (season 4), Gaslit (season 1), and Homecoming (season 1). I am a member of the Directors Guild of America and Visual Effects Society.
It’s my intention to work to any production’s needs - whether that’s as a department head that can handle both the VFX Supervision AND VFX Producing duties, or running a post VFX team, or directing 2nd unit on a VFX/plate heavy shoot.
