UPDATESPosted: 07/13/2008"The Elite 8" production has been put on hold until December. We will not be losing any cast members to schedule conflicts, which is very fortunate. "Apocalypse, CA" is nearing it's next, and final, production shoot. It's been just over a year now since we began this journey, and will likely be another few months before it is finished. All is looking well and the movie is nearly edited in its entirety. |
"The Elite 8", "The Void" and "Apocalypse, CA"Posted: 06/18/2008I have been working as co-producer on writer/director friend Mark Marchillo's first feature film, "The Elite 8", these past two months. The project remains in preproduction, but as of right now, we do have a several actors attached (Aimee Teegarden, Stephen Colletti, Joy Lauren, Trevor Morgan, Julian Morris, and Michael Welch). We may or may not be going into production at the beginning of next month, all contingent on a number of things falling into place. I am still working daily on the edit for "Apocalypse, CA". There is still a lot of work to do, including additional scenes still to be shot, but everything is coming along nicely. I'm still aiming for an October finish date, or perhaps even September. In addition to all this, I've also started writing again on "The Void" feature film (of no relation to my short films of the same name). Likely the title will change in the future. Look for updates on this in the near future, as I am contemplating producing & directing "The Void" immediately after "Apocalypse, CA" has been completed. |
"Apocalypse, CA" - Phase II filming wrapped.Posted: 04/28/2008I've wrapped the majority of filming on my debut feature film, "Apocalypse, CA". The remaining 10% of filming will take place in late June/early July. Despite those delays, the film is still on schedule to be completed by early October, just in time for the American Film Market in Santa Monica, and the following January film festivals (primarily those located in Park City, Utah). Look for a film trailer up and online in the very near future. |
